The place is a lovely two-level apartment in a historical district of old wooden cottages nearby the University of Tallinn, with 30 minutes's walk to the Old City and 15 minutes' walk to Kadriorg park and museum. The apartment is in one of these old cottages but is fully renovated, well-designed and impeccably clean. The bedroom-cum-bathroom is in the cellar and the sitting room-cum-kitchen in the bel etage. Although the apartment looks into the street, there is pretty zero street noise and the whole area is very quiet. Those travelling by the car can leave their car in the apartment's parking lot.
The hosts do not provide breakfast, but there are enough amenities for guests' making it themselves: there are a fully equipped kitchen (cooking pots, utensils, teapot and a perfect coffee machine) in the kitchen area, a huge supermarket (Mon-Sun 8am-11pm) in 7 minutes' walk and a tiny family bakery with croissants and meat pies just round the corner. A bunch of nearby cafes (kohvik) is also an option for a morning snack or a lunch.
The apartment has a rather steep doorway and equally steep stairs to the cellar - this could be a challenge for an aged person.
There is a small fireplace in the sitting-room, and it would be fantastic to use it in the cold season, but the house rules do not specify where the guests could find (buy) firewood. Please add this info to the booklet :)
