Hey, I’m Uncle Norm. Technically, I’m a brand-new 2026 Jayco Redhawk SE 29KF. But nobody wants to yell, “Hey, 2026 Jayco Redhawk SE 29KF!” across the campground. So Uncle Norm it is. I’m 32 feet of road trips, campfires, questionable s’mores decisions, morning coffee, pancakes, belly laughs, and stories your family will probably tell for years. I’m not really in the RV business. I’m in the “remember that weekend when…” business. And I’m pretty darn good at it. Here’s what life with me looks like... Wake up somewhere beautiful. Start the coffee. Make pancakes while somebody is still wandering around in pajamas. Spend the day hiking, swimming, exploring, tailgating—or doing absolutely nothing because doing absolutely nothing is seriously underrated. Then light a fire, pull up some chairs and stay outside way later than you planned. That’s my kind of day. And when you’re ready to come inside, I’ve got you covered. I sleep up to 6 with four separate sleeping areas: a private rear bed, a big cab-over bed, a dinette that converts into a bed, and a loveseat that folds down for even more sleeping space. I’ve also got a full kitchen with refrigerator, cooktop and convection microwave, my own bathroom and shower, heat, A/C, Smart TV, plenty of storage, and an onboard generator. Basically, you can tell everyone you’re “roughing it” while sleeping in a real bed with air conditioning and your own bathroom. I won’t tell anybody. Want to take me on the road? Let’s go. Yes, I’m a big guy—but I’m built for this. Underneath all this handsomeness is a Ford E-450 with a big 7.3L V8, automatic transmission, power steering, cruise control, backup camera, big mirrors, stability control and plenty of features designed to make driving comfortable. Before you leave, you’ll get a complete walkthrough, and we’ll make sure you’re comfortable with everything. Give me a little extra room, take your time, and you’ll be surprised how quickly driving me starts to feel natural. Besides, there’s something pretty great about pulling out of the driveway knowing your kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and refrigerator are all coming with you. Try doing THAT in a minivan. Or...I can come to YOU. Now we’re talking. If your perfect camping weekend starts with: “Wouldn’t it be great if we could just show up and everything was ready?” I can do that. Utilities will be connected when available, and I’ll be waiting for you to arrive, unpack your stuff and start enjoying your getaway. And when the adventure is over? Pack your things, give me a little goodbye pat and head home. My people will come get me. It’s basically camping with room service. Delivery is perfect for families with young kids, first-time campers, people visiting Kansas City, family reunions, weddings, sporting events, festivals, Chiefs weekends—or anyone who would rather spend Friday afternoon making memories than setting up camp. No judgment. I get it. Want Wi-Fi? I can even bring Starlink high-speed internet along for the ride. Sometimes getting away means completely disconnecting. Sometimes it means sitting under the stars while the kids stream a movie inside. Both count. But here’s what I’m REALLY for... Life gets busy. Work. School. Practices. Meetings. Errands. Emails. Laundry. Somehow another week disappears. Then another year. And those little people riding along with you have this annoying habit of getting bigger. That’s why I love road trips. For a few days, everybody is going the same direction. You eat together. Explore together. Get lost together. Laugh about getting lost together. You sit around a fire and talk about things you probably wouldn’t have talked about sitting in the living room at home. And somewhere along the way, without really trying, you make a memory. I’ve even considered installing a lockbox for everybody’s phones. Unfortunately, I’ve been informed that holding an entire family’s iPhones hostage until they make eye contact with each other may be frowned upon. So I’ll leave that decision to you. Years from now, nobody is going to remember what emails were waiting back at the office—or what they were scrolling through on their phone. But somebody might still say: “Remember that trip we took in Uncle Norm?” That’s the good stuff. That’s why I’m here. So grab your favorite people. Pack way too many snacks. Pick somewhere you’ve been meaning to go. Make the coffee. Burn a pancake or two. Stay outside until the fire burns down. Laugh until somebody snorts. And don’t worry too much about having the perfect trip. The imperfect parts usually become the best stories anyway. I’m Uncle Norm.
