It is a good central town location close to shops, pubs and local sights.
I can't give a good review as your very first customer because there was no mention in the advert of the room being on the 3rd floor of a town house with almost vertical steep staircases and no lift. Go Ape courses have less steep staircases.
The relief of finding an affordable low budget room (which looks beautiful in the photographs) at the very last minute was shattered when I arrived as I travel with an older GSD who at 34kg I can't carry up steep stairs. As you heard we tried the first flight but the next two were out of the question.
You need to stipulate only toy or portable breeds if you want that market.
Offerring an alternative AirBnB was good initiative but not ptactical at almost three times the price of your room!
Suggesting I left my dog in the car in the public carpark in the town square 150m away around the corner was not kind.
If the bathroom/wc are on different floors you need to say, also if it is shared with you as host.
A light on the front door to help late arrivals find it more and open the keysafe easily down the softly lit lane at the back of the shops and pub would be considerate.
A sign outside would also be more professional as well as helpful. Think who you want for customers and word your adverts appropriately. "No Dogs, Drunks, Doddery or Disabled" comes to mind!
A refund rather than blaming the website would have been appropriate.
We spent the night in the car up the road, never to book last minute rooms ever again!
