The way up and the view from the property where expectional, one of the best we‘ve had in our NZ roadtrip! The main house was very cozy, great spot to hangout and relax (books & games available). Rod (the host) was very welcoming & showed us around. Laundry and kitchen are available for everyone. Our “apartment“ was super cozy and had everything you need for a nice weekend getaway! Very much recommend this place!

View is incredible, kitchen and living area are really nice with everything you need - the bath with a view was my favourite part. Recommend the walk down to the beach whilst here. Rod was great in making sure we were comfortable.
Only thing I would say is that if it’s cold you do have to walk to the toilet, as it’s outside, if you haven’t booked the en-suite. Also, it wasn’t a problem for us, but a solo traveller might appreciate a lock for their room. You would also need a car whilst staying here.
