The lakeside retreat was very beautiful and tranquil. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The bedroom and kitchen were very nice the location could not have been better. The host was very friendly.
The shower was very clean, but felt a little dated compared with how lovely everything else was, and the hot water could have been better.
We were also asked to wash, put away and tidy our dishes. We’re happy to rinse our dishes, but at $245/night, I don’t feel guests should have to worry about putting dishes away or ensuring they’re spotless. It also creates a risk of the next guests finding dishes in the cupboard that weren’t properly cleaned.
