The location was absolutely perfect. A short walk from the town, loved the fact it overlooked the harbour. Reasonably quiet. The cottage was full of character and reasonably comfortable. Liked the open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area. Good bathroom facilities, the house had 3 toilets. Very good shower.

There were a few areas where we felt improvements could be made in terms of amenities. There was no microwave, despite the fact it was listed in the facilities. We had difficulty finding any tea towels. There was a squeeze of washing up liquid left, and the same applied to both hand soaps. There was no dish washer tablets or washing tablets. This was not a major issue but it just lacked the special touch that makes you feel cared for. One small further note: we feel perhaps it would be advisable to prepare those who are a little less mobile for the fact that the three sets of stairs were all quite steep, and the floor was uneven in several places. In the main bedroom there is quite a dangerous beam which you have to duck under to get to the other side of the bed.
