19 Newtown Sidmouth sits in a peaceful and convenient residential area just a short, level walk from Sidmouth town centre, The Byes riverside walk, and the beach. Easy access to cafés, restaurants, the seafront, and the beautiful countryside. Perfect for guests who want a calm base close to everything Sidmouth has to offer. From 19 Newtown you can walk directly to: The Byes, Sidmouth town centre, the beach, the Southwest Coast Path (via the seafront) Jacob’s Ladder & Connaught Gardens, Salcombe Hill (for stunning views). It’s a brilliant location for walkers and nature lovers. Newtown itself is a peaceful street with a friendly, local feel. It’s not a busy tourist road, which means: Quiet evenings, a sense of privacy, a safe, settled environment. Guests often comment on how calm the area feels despite being so close to everything.
We do require a Rental Agreement to be signed and returned to us, this will be sent as soon as you book.
A £200 security deposit is taken as a hold on your bank card. This is not a charge, and no money leaves your account. The hold is automatically released 4 days after departure.
In all the bookings we’ve hosted, we’ve only ever needed to use this once. You’re here to relax and enjoy your stay — so if a glass, plate, or anything small gets broken, don’t worry, we cover that. All we ask is that you let us know when it happens so we can replace it for you or for the next guests
Although we are unable to accept guest pets here, please be aware that the owners have a dog who occasionally comes to the premises. We like to share this in advance for the comfort of any guests who may have severe allergies.
