This newly remodeled basement studio in Portland is light-filled and designed in a Japandi style-clean lines, natural textures, and a calm, uncluttered feel. West facing windows frame views of Mount Hood, bringing in soft light and a sense of openness that's rare for a lower-level space. Heated floors keep things comfortable year-round, and the space is equipped with a washer/dryer, a small closet, a TV, and a kitchenette with an electric stovetop, toaster oven/air fryer, full-sized fridge and microwave. Note: The sleeping area features a sleeper sofa that easily converts into a full-size bed. It was selected for its consistently high comfort ratings across many independent sources.
Outside the studio, you'll have access to a greenhouse, and the kitchen overlooks a small chicken coop, adding a bit of everyday calm and connection to nature. A family of three, along with a dog and cat, live in the main house; he works in HR and she is a baker. We value hospitality and enjoy supporting our guests, while also fully respecting privacy and independence. Were looking for someone who will genuinely enjoy the space and care for it as home during their stay.
