Honeysuckle is a semi-detached barn conversion set in a quiet rural setting within the heart of the Cornish countryside and is just three miles from St Columb Major and six miles from Newquay and can sleep eight people. This cottage has upside down accommodation to benefit from the lovely views. There are two ground-floor double bedrooms, a ground floor twin bedroom, a single bedroom, a ground-floor bathroom, a shower room, a first floor kitchen, a first floor sitting room with gas fire and a dining area. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and a private, enclosed, lawned garden at the front with furniture and a barbecue. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included. Sorry, no smoking. Two well-behaved pets welcome - outside dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. A shop is within 1.5 miles and a pub is a mile away. For avid walkers, the South West Coast Path passes in both directions along a stunning coastline of high cliffs, hidden coves and yet more beaches. The quaint harbour and fishing village of Padstow is just 14 miles away, while Truro, with its museums, cathedral, restaurants, and cobbled streets, as well as the Eden Project, can be reached within a short drive. Picturesque St Ives and the Tate St Ives gallery is just a train ride away. In fact, because nothing in Cornwall is far from Newquay, it’s the perfect touring base.
