Welcome to **Seahorse Stables**, a spotless, vintage-inspired coastal cottage in the heart of Oak Island's beloved Yaupon Beach area. Located just 0.5 mile from the beach — about a 10-minute walk straight down SE Trott Street — this charming 3-bedroom cottage sleeps up to 8 and offers a private backyard, fun-filled sunroom, and an incredibly convenient location near restaurants, shopping, bars and the Oak Island Pier.
Seahorse Stables isn't your typical cookie-cutter beach rental. This classic Oak Island cottage has a vintage, homey feel, mature coastal landscaping and plenty of personality. It's comfortable, welcoming and thoughtfully prepared for guests who want to settle in, slow down and enjoy the island.
THE BEACH IS STRAIGHT DOWN THE STREET - literally!
One of the best things about Seahorse Stables is how easy it is to get to the beach. From the cottage, it's approximately **0.5 mile — about a 10-minute walk — straight down SE Trott Street to the beach access.** No complicated directions or driving around the island — grab the provided beach chairs, umbrella and toys and head straight for the sand.
Oak Island is also known for great fishing. Try your luck surf fishing from the beach or head over to the nearby Oak Island Pier to cast a line, take a walk over the ocean, or simply enjoy the view.
SLEEPS UP TO 8 comfortably
With three bedrooms and flexible sleeping arrangements, Seahorse Stables is a great fit for families and groups:
Primary Bedroom: Queen bed + private half bath
Guest Bedroom: Queen bed
Bunk Room: Twin-over-full bunk bed + pull-out twin trundle
Every bedroom has a Smart TV, and the home includes Wi-Fi/internet access so everyone can stay connected or relax with their favorite show after a day at the beach.
The home includes 1.5 bathrooms, with the private half bath located in the primary bedroom.

The comfortable living room gives everyone a place to gather, while the bright sunroom/game room offers even more room to spread out. Challenge someone to a game of air hockey, pull out one of the provided board games, or simply relax and enjoy some downtime after a day in the sun.

The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, dishes, utensils and the essentials you'll need to prepare and enjoy meals during your stay. You'll also have a full-size refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and toaster.
Pick up some fresh local seafood, cook dinner together and enjoy an easy night at the cottage — without having to pack your own kitchen from home.

Location is one of the things we love most about Seahorse Stables.
The cottage is located in the Yaupon section of Oak Island, putting you close to many of the things that make this part of the island so much fun. Guests can walk to nearby restaurants, shopping, bars and the Oak Island Pier, while still enjoying the relaxed, residential setting of the cottage.
You're also positioned for easy access on and off Oak Island, making day trips a breeze. Spend an afternoon strolling the waterfront and shops of historic Southport, head off the island for dinner, or explore more of the Brunswick County coast without having to travel the entire length of Oak Island first.
The property offers parking for at least three(3) vehicles in the driveway.
BEACH GEAR INCLUDED
We want beach days to be easy! Guests have access to a selection of basic beach chairs, a beach umbrella and beach toys during their stay. Guest are encouraged to bring their own beach towels.
Just grab what you need and head straight down Trott Street toward the ocean.

Cleanliness is a priority at Seahorse Stables. The cottage is professionally cleaned and carefully prepared before every guest arrival so you can walk in, unpack and start enjoying your vacation.
