About this cottage rental
With views over Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) and the Welsh Highland Railway, Bron-Eifion is the quintessential Eryri (Snowdonia) cottage. Located right at the foot of the tallest peak in Wales, the cottage shares the valley with the Welsh Highland Steam Railway as it pushes its way from Beddgelert to the south up to Rhyd Ddu station and then on to Caernarfon in the north.
But I should talk about the cottage first. It's a semi detached cottage on the outskirts of Rhyd Ddu in the heart of Eryri. It's been immaculately decorated and furnished by Jane, the owner and her taste and attention to detail are evident throughout the property.
Downstairs the cosy lounge opens out onto the adjoining and spacious dining room. A log fire and tasteful fixtures and fitting ensure that this living space is comfortable and welcoming.
A traditional and well-equipped country kitchen is located to the rear of the cottage. Cream fitted units including a dishwasher and fridge are topped by a beach block worktop. A washing machine and tumble dryer are available in the utility room accessed via the small rear courtyard.
Three bedrooms upstairs. Both the large king sized bedroom and the smaller single bedroom enjoy panoramic views towards Yr Wyddfa. The third twin bedroom over looks the garden to the rear of the property. Again, all the bedding and soft furnishings are beautifully chosen and create a sense of elegant sophistication. Finally the large bathroom accommodates a pastel painted vanity unit and a large bath with shower over.
Parking on the road opposite the cottages.
One Travel Cot and Highchair on request (cot-linen not provided).
We’re happy to welcome 2 well-behaved dogs. Please keep them supervised at all times and don’t leave them unattended. To keep the space comfy for everyone, we kindly ask that they stay off the furniture and out of the bedrooms.
Feel free to bring their favourite bed, blanket, and anything else to make them feel at home! To keep your furry companions safe, we recommend not leaving them unattended in the garden and always keeping a watchful eye on them during their outdoor adventures. Please make sure to clean up after your dogs in the garden and surrounding areas.
