Storybook is a place made for mornings that begin slowly. Coffee shared side by side. Sunlight filtering through the trees. Conversations that last a little longer because, for once, nothing is pulling you away.

Tucked among the trees on two private wooded acres, the cabin feels wonderfully removed from the rush of everyday life—a place to exhale, reconnect, and remember what it feels like when there’s nowhere else you need to be.

Step inside and the Storybook feeling continues. Warm wood, charming details, a winding spiral staircase leading to the loft king bedroom, and little touches that make the cabin feel as though it belongs to another time.

It’s especially lovely for honeymoons, anniversaries, romantic weekends, and those "just need to get away” escapes. Storybook can also welcome small families, with a comfy pull-out sofa sleeper on the main level, and its intimate woodland setting makes it a beautiful backdrop for micro-weddings and other meaningful celebrations.

But you don’t really need an occasion to come here.

Soak beneath the stars. Sit by the fire. Put on a record. Sleep late. Drink your coffee slowly. Let the world wait awhile.

There really is something magical about Storybook. Maybe it’s the cabin tucked away among the trees, the quiet, or the feeling that you’ve stepped into another time. We think the real magic is simply having the time and space to slow down, be fully present, and enjoy the people you came here with.

Storybook is yours to enjoy during your stay, giving you the privacy and freedom to settle in and make yourself at home.

There is plenty of parking at the cabin, as well as room to turn around near the top of the driveway.

Because Storybook is tucked away on a wooded hillside, the driveway is steep but manageable. For your first arrival, we strongly recommend getting here before dusk if possible. It’s simply much easier to become familiar with the driveway and property for the first time while there’s still daylight.

Once you’re here, park the car, settle in, and let the rest of the world wait awhile.

Storybook is your private getaway, and we want you to feel free to settle in, unplug, and enjoy it at your own pace.

We’ll give you the space and privacy to make Storybook feel like your own while you’re here, but if you need anything during your stay, we’re only a message or phone call away and always happy to help.

• A record player, books, and cozy spaces throughout the cabin are made for lingering. Pick an album, pour something you love, and stay awhile.

• The thoughtfully equipped kitchen has what you need to prepare cozy meals together, while the living room offers a comfortable place to settle in for an old-fashioned movie night or simply enjoy a quiet evening together.

• Our “cute as a button” dining nook overlooks the woods and may become one of your favorite places for a slow breakfast, morning coffee, or simply watching the world outside.

### Your Own Private World Outdoors

• Two private wooded acres give Storybook its wonderfully tucked-away feeling.

• Twinkle lights create a warm evening glow around the cabin.

• Slip into the secluded hot tub beneath the stars and let the day disappear.

• Gather around the fire pit for long conversations and quiet evenings. We provide the firewood, so all you need to bring is whatever you like to roast.

• The charming red gazebo looks as though it belongs in a fairytale—a lovely little spot for morning coffee, an evening glass of wine, or simply sitting together and listening to the woods. (Couples have said their vows there!) 

• In early summer, you may even catch one of the Smokies’ most magical shows as fireflies begin glowing through the evening woods.

And when you’re ready to venture out, the cabin is near spelunking, white water rafting, Zorbing, and so many other activities! Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge are both approximately 20–25 minutes away—close enough for a day of exploring, but far enough that coming home to Storybook feels like leaving the busy world behind again.

We’re happy to welcome up to two well-behaved dogs at Storybook at no additional pet fee. We simply ask that pets stay off the furniture and that you help us care for the cabin and property during your stay.

𖥔 THE SPIRAL STAIRCASE

Part of Storybook’s charm is its unique spiral staircase, which leads to the loft King bedroom. If stairs are a concern for anyone in your group, please keep this in mind when booking. A comfy queen pull-out sofa sleeper is also available on the main level.

Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided throughout your stay, so you can stay connected when you want to—and happily disconnect when you don’t.
