Head 3 miles south to Blandford Forum, this Georgian market town has a good selection of traditional shops as well as a brewery, complete with tap and shop. Within 9 miles are many attractions including Fiddleford Manor, Sturminster Newton Mill, Kingston Lacy, and Shaftesbury. For fishing enthusiasts, Todber fishery is a 20minute drive.

Heading outside to the fully enclosed garden, with patio and lawn, furniture and a charcoal BBQ, making it ideal for outdoor dining or drinks. The owner of the property has a private stretch of the River Stour which guests can use to launch canoes if they have them, and fishing is also possible by arrangement with the owner. Enjoy a walk around the grounds, meeting the resident animals, Guinea fowl, Ponies and Sheep. This is a nature lovers paradise with the opportunity to see Kingfisher's and DragonFly's.
