Spend evenings at the local cinema (1 mile) or enjoy a night at the Theatre by the Lake (1 mile), great for date nights or entertaining little ones. With plenty to do on rainy days too, visit the Derwent Pencil Museum or the illusions at Puzzling Place, both of which are less than 0.5 miles from your door.

With lots of room for board games to be laid out, this is a great spot for enjoying quality time together after adventures. Moving through to the kitchen, find all you need to cook up a feast. A sleek, bright space, it’s a great place to slice and dice ingredients, and fellow guests can keep the chef company with a glass of something cold at the table. After a pleasant evening, head upstairs where the two bedrooms and the family shower room await. With far-reaching fell views, the bedrooms are tranquil and calming. The master boasts plenty of space whilst the twin is snug yet inviting. Bursts of berry pink brighten up the shower room where you can freshen up in the mornings before heading downstairs for a brew.

Outside, the garden area is shared with other cottages on the terrace. Next to the sloping garden, the gravelled patio area is a top spot for sipping your morning coffee. Keep an eye on your four-legged friends while they stretch their legs as the space is not enclosed. There is off-road parking for one car, roadside parking nearby and a car park close to home.
