The coastal town of Goodwick sits immediately west of its twin town of Fishguard, forming a community that wraps around Fishguard Bay. Goodwick Sands is a small sandy beach, one of many dotted along the coast. Fishguard is 1 mile away and offers an assortment of shops, restaurants and public houses as well as the ferry port providing daily sailings across to Ireland. Try sailing, surfing, climbing and coasteering with Sealyham Activity Centre (8 miles) or play 18 holes at Priskilly Forest Golf Club (7 miles). Theatre Gwaun shows films and hosts live events throughout the year (5 miles). Visit the lovely Dyffryn Fernant garden, and the beautiful, landscaped garden at Penlan Uchaf (10 miles). You may wish to spot wildlife at Strumble Head (5 miles) or explore The Blue Lagoon at Abereiddy (12 miles).

One of three self-contained holiday apartments accessed via steps and winding footpaths through the shared garden, this property is bright and airy during the day, yet cosy in the evening. Full of character, the bold and contemporary interior design makes the most of the compact space, with splashes of colour set harmoniously against patterned walls. The open-plan living space has a plush, red leather corner sofa to rest weary limbs at the end of a busy day, and a dining table to enjoy a romantic meal, looking out to magnificent views across the bay. The kitchen has an electric hob, oven, fridge, microwave and washing machine. The king-size bedroom, a sea of cream and navy furnishings, has a sleigh bed and a large bay window. The decadent and beautiful bathroom has a Victorian shower over the freestanding bath.

Outside, the shared gardens are terraced, with uneven steps and winding footpaths. The private patio has garden furniture and is a lovely place to sit and dine alfresco at any time of the day. There is a shop, pub and beach within 1 mile, and a restaurant 1.5 miles.
