With its medieval Sheepwash Bridge as its focal point, the village is full of character and includes a well-stocked village shop and pub. Walkers will enjoy exploring the contrasting scenery of the higher and wilder Dark Peak 13 miles to the north and the gently rolling limestone dales of White Peak 3 miles to the south.

Step into the spacious hallway which offers space to store coats and a handy bench to take a rest when taking off your boots. Wander through to the lounge which is another spacious room offering plenty comfortable seating, Smart TV and beautiful views from the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the beautiful surrounding countryside. Fire up the wood burner during chiller months as you come together with good company. The kitchen is a delight to cook in, and the light floods in from multiple windows which give you further opportunity to appreciate the views. There is an electric Range oven and gas hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. Dine together at the table with plenty space to get out your maps and plan the days hiking ahead. There are three bedrooms, two doubles and one twin.
