From Keswick you can take a cruise around Derwentwater, calling in at Ashness Gate, High Brandelhow, Lodore and Hawes End so you can explore popular landmarks and attractions including Surprise View, Beatrix Potter’s house at Hill Top and the Bowder Stone. Local activities include rock climbing, hiking, mountain biking and ghyll scrambling.

Exploring further, the apartment has a charming bedroom with a king-size bed and plenty of storage space, and there’s also a stylish bathroom complete with a shower over the bath (bath not in use) and a WC.


Stepping outside from the main living space, a door opens onto a small balcony with a charming terrace. In the warmer months the outdoor furniture is a lovely spot to sit back with a glass of wine and look out over the town and surrounding countryside. Shared bike rails are available on a first-come-first-served basis. Please note that the apartment is reached via 63 steps up an external concrete stairway with a handrail. You will also have a designated parking space in the car park behind the building, which is a short walk from the property via the street. Large cars may find it difficult to manoeuvre in the space especially when the car park is full.
