This superbly presented holiday home offers a convenient and peaceful base from which you can truly relax. The spacious accommodation, offered over three floors, has been furnished and equipped to the highest standards. Appledore has a rich history and the Maritime Museum in the village is worth exploring. Wander characterful streets where you will find shops, galleries, and family pubs serving food. It’s a great base to explore many local North Devon attractions, including The Big Sheep, RHS Rosemoor, The Milky Way Adventure Park, or North Devon Wake Park where you can enjoy a variety of water sports, all within 10 miles. Westward Ho! (2 miles) is renowned for its sandy beach and unique pebble ridge, plus typical seaside amenities such as bars, shops, cafes and amusements.

Step into the property through the front door at ground level, and you will arrive into an entrance hall with a comfortable lounge to your right. Settle down on the comfy sofas in front of the feature fireplace and get stuck into a good film on the Smart TV, or try one of the many board games and children's books available. Heading on through a cosy snug room with an upright piano and Smart TV, there is further seating and a small desk – ideal for those wanting to catch up on emails. Heading on through the snug and up a couple of steps leads you to the large and airy kitchen/diner. The owner has provided everything for the keen cook to experiment on new dishes or serve up the family favourites. Well fitted and equipped, you will find all you need plus some welcome extra features such as an air fryer, coffee bean grinder and cafetiere, and a Smart TV. A large dining table allows everyone to be able to sit down together, and doors open out onto the patio and garden beyond. Next to the kitchen is a convenient, separate WC. Heading back down through the snug to the hallway and heading up to the first floor, you will find the first two bedrooms; a double and a spacious king-size with a stylish en-suite shower room. Also on this floor is a family bathroom with a bath with shower over. Up to the second floor and you will find a further two bedrooms. The first is a twin room, which can be made into a king-size on request at the time of booking. The last bedroom is a super-king-size with river glimpses and an en-suite shower room. All bedrooms have Smart TVs for you to enjoy.

Outside, accessed via the kitchen/diner and French doors from the hallway (steep external steps to the garden), is a large, fully enclosed and dog-secure garden with a good-sized patio area with garden furniture and a charcoal BBQ, ideal for those lazy hazy summer afternoons. Steps lead up to a higher level which is mainly lawned. Here you will find a large garden studio which houses a multiple games table, some play items for the younger guests with a selection of wooden garden games for all the family to enjoy in the sunshine.

Also available for your use is beach furniture, including deck chairs and windbreakers.
