Bring the whole family and enjoy this stylish two-story lakefront retreat on beautiful Balsam Lake! Available year-round, it’s the perfect home base for exploring the lake and everything wonderful Polk County has to offer during all four seasons. Local area includes numerous unique restaurants, wineries, and breweries. There is also easy access to numerous hiking, biking, and ATV trails including the Gandy Dancer Trail, Ice Age Trail, and more. The towns and villages in the area host a number of community celebrations year round, such 4th of July events, Labor Day weekend events, Balsam Lake’s famous “Wine Walk”, Winter Festivals, and so much more.

Please note: As part of our house rules, pets and candles are not allowed. Smoking, fireworks, and fish cleaning are also prohibited on the property, however a fish cleaning facility is available at our adjacent property for your use.

Completely remodeled in 2025, this unique and welcoming home comfortably sleeps up to 10 guests. You’ll find five bedrooms—four with king-size beds—and four full bathrooms, each equipped with a shower, toilet, and vanity. The bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and hair dryers so you can pack light and relax. Each level has a full sized washer & dryer with laundry pods provided.

The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, baking, and grilling, plus a fresh herb garden to enjoy during the summer months. Start your mornings with a variety of coffee, tea, and cocoa K-cups for the Keurig and sit on the deck and watch the sunrise. Propane grills are located on both the deck and patio for easy outdoor meals.

The two levels are connected by a charming circular staircase, adding to the home’s unique character.

Step outside for direct access to the lake, a small private beach area, and up to two dock slips (available at no charge upon request at the time of booking). If you don’t have a boat, pontoon rentals are available at locations on the lake. Beach towels are provided for your convenience.

A Solo Stove fire pit and chairs are included. Firewood and fire starter is available from a stack of firewood on the east side of the large storage building.

When renting the entire house, there are two parking areas available. An upper level, paved, and a lower level with gravel driveway and parking area.
