Villa Catalpa is the largest of four lovingly restored stone houses in Prašćari, a historic Istrian village near Motovun. Surrounded by gardens and rolling countryside, it combines the privacy of a spacious family home with the atmosphere of a peaceful village.
Accommodating up to 12 guests, the villa comprises a main residence and two separate guest quarters, making it ideal for larger families, groups of friends or several generations travelling together.
Generous living and dining areas, a fully equipped kitchen, two fireplaces, private terraces and a swimming pool provide plenty of space to relax and spend time together.
The gym, sauna and yoga room are located in separate buildings within the village. Together with the tennis court, football field, boules court, table tennis and table football, these facilities are within walking distance of all four villas and are shared by their guests.
Our concierge service can provide restaurant recommendations and arrange airport transfers, tennis and yoga lessons, a private chef, truffle hunting, olive oil and wine tastings, boat trips and other local experiences. Booked activities, transfers and external services are subject to availability and charged separately. Baby cots and high chairs are available upon request.
Villa Catalpa can be booked individually or together with the other three houses, accommodating up to 28 guests across the village. This makes Prašćari an ideal setting for family celebrations, weddings, private gatherings and corporate retreats.
Istria offers something to discover in every season, from hilltop villages and vineyards to the coast and historic towns such as Motovun and Rovinj. After a day of exploring, guests return to the peace of their own village retreat, away from the crowds. Prašćari can be reached via the airports of Pula, Rijeka, Trieste and Venice.
