About the Property:

Welcome to Forest Hill House.

Our home sits within a forested four-acre site in New Kasama, one of Lusaka's quietest and most established neighbourhoods. It was designed and project-managed by my mother in close collaboration with our architect Dapo, and completed in July 2024 after three years of careful, considered building. Elevated on sixteen pillars above the natural terrain, the house preserves the forest, the wildlife, and an old stream below. You feel removed from the city here, even though the city is never far.

Where you are

We are 12 minutes from both the Villagers Shopping Complex and Leopard Hill Mall, so whether you need a restaurant, a grocery run, or access to Lusaka's business and diplomatic quarter, everything is within easy reach. The neighbourhood is secure, tree-lined, and genuinely peaceful.

The Gallery House

The main residence sits on the upper level and offers two bedrooms and a generous open plan kitchen and living area with large windows that frame uninterrupted forest in every direction. We designed the interiors to feel both contemporary and deeply African. Terrazzo floors, stone clad bathrooms, engineered stone surfaces, and a custom pan-brick and antique mirrored glass kitchen backsplash sit alongside a ten-metre black feature wall displaying a curated collection of African artwork gathered over many years. Bedrooms are furnished with wicker beds, wardrobes lined in Akuba cloth, and mirrors framed in unfinished timber. Nothing here was chosen in a hurry.

The Apartments

Below the main house, two self-contained studio apartments offer complete privacy with the same standard of finish. SUNSET Villa and SUNRISE Villa each have their own private entrance and are ideal for professionals, diplomats, or anyone looking for a calm, design-led base in Lusaka for a longer stay.
