About this house rental
This is the retreat you book when the gathering matters: a milestone trip, a family reunion, a group of friends who want somewhere that feels like more than a rental.
The Main Level — The heart of the home. An open living space anchored by a wood-burning fireplace, a beautifully appointed kitchen made for cooking real meals together, and a large deck where the long-range view does the entertaining. The primary suite is on this floor: a king bed, its own full bathroom, and private deck access to step out to the mountains with morning coffee.
The Top Floor — A private ensuite with a queen bed and its own full bathroom — a quiet, tucked-away retreat, ideal for a second couple or anyone who values their own space.
The Lower Level — Where the fun lives. A dedicated game room with a pool table and Xbox, opening to hot tub access just outside. A guest bedroom with a queen bed and its own mountain views, and a bunk room built for the kids or the extra crew — one set of twin-over-twin bunks and one set of full-over-twin. A full bathroom on this level is shared between the two bedrooms.
Sleeping for eleven:
Main-floor primary — king, private bath, deck access.
Top-floor ensuite — queen, private bath.
Lower-level guest room — queen, mountain views.
Lower-level bunk room — twin-over-twin and full-over-twin.
Three full bathrooms in total, thoughtfully placed across all three levels.
The Outdoors — A large deck built to frame the view, with a hot tub for soaking under the stars and a fire pit for the evenings that run long. Whether it`s coffee at sunrise or s`mores at midnight, the outdoor space is as much the point as the interior.
Every Comfort — Air conditioning throughout, a wood-burning fireplace for cool mountain nights, fast connectivity, and a kitchen stocked for real cooking. Bring the dog, too — this home is pet-friendly.
The Setting — Private and peaceful, yet close to everything Banner Elk offers: dining, breweries, and Grandfather Mountain nearby, with Sugar and Beech skiing a short drive for winter trips. You get the seclusion of the mountains without giving up convenience.
Getting Around & Things to Know — Mountain roads climb; from December through March we recommend AWD or 4WD, and it`s wise to be prepared for early snow at elevation. The hot tub is swimwear-only, with test strips provided. Pets are welcome. Check-in 4:00 PM, check-out 11:00 AM. Must be 25 years old to book
