Steeped in history and reimagined for romance, this couples retreat, once a rustic farm labourer's cottage and adjoining cow parlour, has been renovated into a sanctuary of calm. Tucked away on a quiet, working dairy farm, set within the farm yard, this spacious one-bedroom cottage offers a quiet child- and pet-free sanctuary for couples.
The private entrance opens into a light filled, open plan living area designed for unwinding. Here, you can sink into the sofa and relax in front of the wood-burning stove while watching TV , listening to music, or simply enjoying the airy open-plan kitchen. The kitchen contains a large fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave and all the pots, pans, utensils, cutlery, glassware, crockery and kitchen paraphernalia one might need.
En route from the kitchen to the bedroom there is a little hallway that contains a tourism information point or cubby. It holds maps, food and restaurant recommendations locally, day trip plans and guides , local numbers for taxis and our contact details, all there to use during your stay.
The seamless, single-level flooring flows into the master suite, featuring a king-sized bed, lockers, chest of drawers, vanity, small couch and full length mirror. The wardrobe comes fully prepared for your stay with a beach bag, towels, a hairdryer, Iron, ironing board and a clothes horse. Just steps away, the bathroom continues a smooth, threshold-free layout for easy access to the rain shower, complete with shower essentials and hand soap on the sink.
