The private, spacious and secure back yard offers a relaxing place to enjoy the ambience and perhaps a BBQ on the veranda. A very well-equipped kitchen gives you the opportunity to self-cater and access the basic provisions, tea, coffee etc.
Within walking distance is the Briagolong Pub which offers a wide selection of delicious meals. The General Store has the basics and there is a delightful local park with playground and BBQ facilities.
As you wander around Briagolong the many murals may catch your eye. The Big Gallery, open on the weekends, profiles our local creatives and is well worth a visit. The Redgum Reserve offers a network of walking tracks or the opportunity for a jog or cycle. And just a few kilometres away, along the Freestone Creek, take some time to explore the local beauty spots. The Quarry Reserve, Blue Pool and McKinnon’s Point all offering great swimming and walking tracks.
Briagolong is the perfect base from which to explore Gippsland. The high country to the north with the township of Dargo, and the Gippsland Lakes and Ninety-Mile beach to the East.
The township of Sale, (30km) boasts an excellent regional gallery and the wonderful entertainment space, the Wedge. For music lovers, there are regular gigs at Stratford Courthouse Theatre and the Bundalaguah Hall. It’s worth checking out what’s on locally!
