From the moment you arrive, you will find your everyday worries melt away in Lower Tregudda Apartment. Perched on a hilltop, you will have the sounds of the sea together with stunning views across Port Gaverne harbour and the Atlantic Ocean beyond, which can be enjoyed from all the living areas and two of the spacious bedrooms. Inside Lower Tregudda
Lower Tregudda has a private west facing terrace that extends across the front of the property, with plenty of garden furniture for relaxing al fresco. There is also a spacious lawned garden which includes ample parking (shared with the upper apartment).

You will step into a beautiful contemporary kitchen with streamlined units, ample work surfaces and a lovely dining table for memorable feasting. Beyond this, the living room manages to maintain an intimate atmosphere, even when catering for larger amounts of people, with ample sofas and chairs in which to relax. There's a cosy wood-burner making autumn and winter stays a delight, and doors open directly onto the terrace.

There are five bedrooms spread out from the open living areas; the master bedroom has a kingsize bed and lovely contemporary ensuite bathroom, and gorgeous sea views. There is a further double room also with sea views. The twin room is located just off the living room and has two smaller singles (2'6''); there are a further two single rooms along the hall. A family bathroom completes the accommodation.
Out and about
The two Tregudda apartments are set on the edge of the tiny harbourside village of Port Gaverne. Owned by the National Trust, this sheltered inlet on the North coast of Cornwall has a small sandy beach at low tide, rock pools and caves, cliff walks with magnificent views and stunning sunsets. Port Gaverne is a popular destination come rain or shine. Take a look for yourself with our live Port Gaverne webcam. It's just a short stroll from the famous 14th century fishing village of Port Isaac which you may recognise as Portwenn, the location of the famous TV series ‘Doc Martin'.

The South West Coast path is immediately behind the property, and this entire stretch of coast has been designated both Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and Heritage Coast status. You can walk east towards legendary Tintagel, or west past Port Isaac and tiny Port Quin cove to Pentire headland, Polzeath and the Camel estuary. Or simply stroll out to the dramatic headland right here for a perfect evening view. Port Gaverne is also one of the top wild swimming spots in Cornwall, and you can hire kayaks and SUPs on the beach, so pack your wetsuit, wellies and sunscreen, and we'll provide the fishing nets, body boards and walking maps!

For eating out, the multi award-winning Port Gaverne Restaurant & Hotel is just next door, dating back to the 17th century and specialising in local produce — particularly seafood and delicious local ales. Or there's the seasonal "Pilchards" right by the beach with plates for sharing, teas and coffees. Or stroll into Port Isaac with its growing foodie credentials, given that it's home to famous celeb chef Nathan Outlaw's Fish Kitchen.

Please note that access to the property, by car and walking, is up a very steep (but very short) hill.
