This two-bedroom boasts a spacious, single-level floor plan with an open-concept layout and a bonus, bunk and game room with access to a ground-level patio.
With plenty of room to spread out, relax on the expansive deck with a morning coffee while the sound comes alive with the bustle of ferry and ship traffic. Later, fire up the private gas grill for a backyard barbecue with unforgettable views.
A sunny game nook and reading area features table seating for two and adjacent wet bar. Full kitchen features sleek, updated appliances and plenty of counter space, plus a dishwasher, for easy home cooking and cleanup. A wraparound breakfast counter offers barstool seating for four and the dining table seats six.
A hallway leading past the primary bedroom and laundry room, and through the second guest room, leads out to the bunk and game room. Over all we were pleased with our stay. We got off to a rocky start, as when we arrived and started to stock the kitchen, we found that the refrigerator smelled strongly of old fish. We spent over an hour taking it apart, finding the source of the odor and cleaning and sanitizing it. Should have been caught by the cleaning crew. Otherwise it was fine and the view of the Puget Sound is gorgeous.

The view from this home is absolutely stunning — definitely the highlight of our stay. The setting is peaceful and relaxing, and we appreciated the board games provided for family time.That said, there were a few things worth noting. Some boards on the deck are starting to rot and could use repair for safety. One of the bedrooms is only accessible by walking through another bedroom and closet, which made it a bit awkward for privacy. The house has two mini splits on each end, but it got chilly at night unless we left all the bedroom doors open or used the provided space heaters.We were asked to run the dishwasher and a load of towels before checkout, but no dishwasher pods or laundry detergent were provided, so we ended up hand washing dishes with the dish soap on hand. The bathrooms are quite outdated, and the only TV in the house is in the kids’ room — not a big issue for us, but having one in a more central area would’ve been nice.Overall, we enjoyed the view and location, but a few updates and small conveniences would make the stay much more comfortable.
