Bella's Retreat consists of an open-plan living space with a kitchen equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, kettle, and toaster, along with a dining area and sitting area with an electric fire, Smart TV, and WiFi. The bedrooms consist of a king-size with Smart TV and an en-suite bathroom with bath, shower over, basin, and WC, and a double bedroom. There is also a shower room with a walk-in shower, basin, and WC. Fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is an enclosed decking area with furniture and a hot tub, together with off-road parking for two cars. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. You'll find a shop and beach in 0.4 miles, a pub in 0.5 miles, and a lake in 1 mile. Highchair and travel cot available. Made up of a scattering of Lakeland cottages, this quiet village offers a thriving and very popular local pub, serving real ales and fine food. Why not leave the car at home, with great connections, you can catch the bus here which regularly runs from the train station all the way up to Keswick via Ambleside, Rydal and Grasmere. Explore Brockhole Visitor Centre with tree-top adventures and childrens play park which is close by - boats to Ambleside and Bowness call in here along with some Lake Cruises in season. There are also some charming walks and bridleways to explore directly from here up into the beautiful Troutbeck Valley and across to Wansfell, as well as the gardens at Holehird, which are run entirely by volunteers and are an enchanting and inspiring place to explore. The bustling towns of Windermere and Ambleside are close by, providing a range of amenities including shops, pubs and cafes. Lake Windermere boasts a range of lakeside activities, including trips to the famous Aquarium and the renowned Grizedale Forest Park, whilst children will enjoy the World of Beatrix Potter in nearby Bowness, where technology brings her characters to life. With destinations such as Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains all within easy reach, Troutbeck Bridge is an ideal location for exploring all that the region has to offer.
