Stay somewhere a little different: a brand-new, stylish studio tucked away in the garden of a well-known chef and cookbook author, right in the heart of Willemstad.
The studio is completely private, with its own entrance, private porch and en-suite bathroom. It has been thoughtfully designed and decorated to create a relaxed, comfortable island vibe. Inside you'll find everything you need for an easy stay, including air conditioning, Wi-Fi, TV, a Nespresso machine, a Smeg fridge and all the little comforts that make you feel at home.
Step outside in the morning, pick some fresh herbs from the garden for a cup of tea and enjoy it on your private porch surrounded by tropical greenery. Although you're right in the city, the studio feels secluded and peaceful. Guests are also welcome to use the barbecue, pizza oven and shared outdoor areas when available.
The location is ideal for exploring Curaçao. A supermarket and several restaurants are within walking distance, while downtown Willemstad, beaches and many of the island's best restaurants are just a short drive away. At night, you can safely park your car on the property behind an electric gate.
The studio is located adjacent to my kitchen, where I host Caribbean Cooking Classes and Chef’s Table dinners. Around two days a week, classes or dinners take place, so there may be other guests on the property during those times. Your studio and private porch are yours to enjoy at all times. When there are no events taking place in the cooking studio, you’re also welcome to enjoy the lounge area and other communal spaces.
And there’s a little extra for food lovers: as a guest of the studio, you’ll receive a 15% discount on the Caribbean Cooking Class and Chef’s Table. A great opportunity to add a tasty culinary experience to your stay!
