A sleek, contemporary, Victorian Terrace in a quiet residential area, located inside the historic City walls and just a 5 minute walk from the vibrant City Centre. It’s perfect for a family break, up to two couples or individuals visiting on business or pleasure.

Our house is located in the heart of York’s entertainment district with restaurants, cafés and bars on the doorstep. It’s conveniently positioned for those wishing to visit the area's popular attractions and is within walking distance of the National Railway Museum, the York Castle and York Minster. Bishopthorpe Road (with its independent shops and cafes), Rowntree Park and the riverside path are also just a short walk away. York Racecourse is 5 minutes' drive away.

Our house is designed with families in mind, but is also great for up to two couples. The peaceful location means that it isn't suitable for those wishing to party and we request that you please respect our neighbours.

Sleeping arrangements: Two comfy double bedrooms with luxurious cotton bed linen. The main double bedroom on the first floor is furnished with white painted furniture including a double bed, side tables, dresser with mirror and double wardrobe. The second double bedroom is located in the loft and includes double bed, wardrobe and comfy window chair.

Kitchen: The kitchen / dining area is spacious, open plan, light and airy. It has everything you should need for your stay. We supply essentials such as coffee, tea, sugar, milk and crockery for dining. The kitchen is fully fitted with fridge (and small freezer), oven, hob, microwave and washing machine for your convenience. The kitchen includes a breakfast bar with stools and double doors leading out onto the east facing decked patio area, which is great during the summer months for eating breakfast al fresco. The dining area includes a white painted & oak dining table which seats 4, Bose docking station compatible with Apple iPod / iPhone and wall hung LCD TV.

Living room: A cosy lounge with sofa, chair, coffee table, LCD TV, DVD player and impressive Victorian cast iron and tiled feature fireplace. Free high speed wifi internet is available.

Bathroom: The tiled bathroom is located on the first floor and has a deep, P shaped bath with a powerful overhead shower. Towels are provided.

A small back yard with decked patio area and potted plants. Whilst smoking isn’t allowed inside the house, smokers can do so on the patio area.

Due to the city centre location and resident only parking restrictions on street parking is limited to 10 minutes allowing you to drop off your luggage prior to parking in any nearby Public parking area. The nearest public car park is Nunnery Lane car park (charges are applicable) which is approximately a 5 minute walk from the house. Please contact us for other parking options.

Please note Bedroom 1 is on the first floor accessed by a flight of stairs. Bedroom 2 is on the second floor accessed by a further flight of stairs.

IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.

The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.

Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
