The Space:

Shore Haven sits right on the western shore of Lake Rotorua, where the lawn runs down to the water and the sun comes up straight out in front of you. Three bedrooms plus a walk-through fourth, a private spa pool, use of the shared jetty, and 180 degree lake views taking in Mokoia Island and the lights of the Rotorua CBD across the water.

- BEDROOMS -

All four bedrooms are upstairs, along with the main bathroom.

Sleeps 8 in total. All bedding and linen supplied.



- BATHROOMS -

The main bathroom is upstairs alongside the bedrooms, with a walk-in shower, a bath and a tidy vanity. Downstairs there is a separate toilet off the living level, so nobody has to head up the stairs mid-movie. Towels supplied.



- LIVING AREA -

All of the living is on the ground floor. The kitchen has a gas cooktop, electric oven, dishwasher and a breakfast bar, opening into a dining area that seats the whole group. From there it flows into the lounge, warmed by a gas fireplace, and on into a second sitting room where the armchairs face straight out at the lake - the best seats in the house first thing in the morning. A Samsung Smart TV with apps is set up in the lounge, and there is a plunger for the morning coffee.



- OUTDOOR AREA -

Two decks. The main deck faces east out over the lake, with the outdoor table and chairs set up for long lunches and the sunrise straight in front of you. The second deck is off the dining room and is home to the private spa pool. Beyond them the lawn runs down to the water's edge, and you have use of the shared jetty - handy for the boat or the kayaks, and the trout fishing off this stretch is some of the best around.



- PARKING -

Off-street driveway parking plus a double garage, with lockable bike storage inside for anyone bringing their gear to the Redwoods.



- LAUNDRY -

A dedicated laundry on the ground floor with washer, dryer, bench space and a sink.



Guest Access:

Guests have exclusive access to the whole house - both living rooms, the kitchen, all four bedrooms, the private spa pool, both decks, the lawn, the garage and the driveway. The jetty is shared with the neighbouring properties. Make yourself at home. 🏡



The Neighborhood:

Ngongotaha sits on the western shore of Lake Rotorua, ten minutes out of town and a world away from it. This is the quiet side of the lake - fishing boats, black swans, and the sort of sunrises people drive out here to photograph. Shore Haven looks straight across the water to Mokoia Island and the lights of the Rotorua CBD, and the trout fishing on this stretch of the lake is some of the best in the country. Mount Ngongotaha rises behind you, with Skyline Rotorua's gondola and luge, Rotorua Canopy Tours and Zorb all a few minutes up the road. The Ngongotaha village shops are a five minute drive. Central Rotorua, Polynesian Spa, Wai Ariki Spa and Te Puia are around fifteen minutes, and the Redwoods Whakarewarewa Forest twenty.



Getting Around:

A car makes sense out here, and there is driveway parking plus a double garage. Zorb, Rotorua Canopy Tours and the Skyline gondola and luge are all about seven minutes up State Highway 5, central Rotorua and the lakefront around fifteen, the Redwoods twenty, and Rotorua Airport about twenty five. The Ngongotaha village shops are five minutes away.



Other Things to Note:

LAYOUT: The house is over two levels. All of the living, the kitchen, the laundry and a separate toilet are on the ground floor. All four bedrooms and the main bathroom are upstairs.



BEDROOM 4: Bedroom 4 is a walk-through room off the upstairs hallway rather than a fully separate room. It suits a child, a teen or someone travelling with the group.



JETTY: The jetty is shared with the neighbouring properties. The spa pool, lawn and decks are exclusively yours.



WIFI: 250 Mbps.
