Welcome to Spruce Haven

Welcome to Spruce Haven Mountain Cottage, a newly renovated 2-bedroom, 2-bath retreat in the mountains of Spruce Pine, North Carolina.

Tucked at the end of a quiet neighborhood and surrounded by woods, Spruce Haven offers the peaceful feeling of a mountain getaway while keeping you less than one mile from downtown Spruce Pine.

Inside, you'll find a thoughtfully designed home with brand-new furnishings, comfortable gathering spaces and the details we believe make a stay feel special.

Sleep exceptionally well

Each of the cottage’s two bedrooms is designed with guest comfort in mind. Fall asleep beneath luxurious linens and wake up refreshed for another exciting (or relaxing!) day in the mountains.

Both bedrooms are located on the same level one with a queen-sized bed and one with a full size daybed. Both beds are outfitted with extremely comfortable luxury hybrid memory foam mattresses.

Mattress and pillow protectors are used, and linens are laundered with allergy-free detergents. These features are a part of our stringent cleaning standards.

The queen bedroom has a Smart TV.

Just like the bedrooms, the bathrooms are designed for ultimate comfort and relaxation. The cottage has one full bathroom next to the queen bedroom, featuring a large quartz vanity with multiple storage as well as handmade built in shelves. The Full daybed bedroom has an ensuite full bathroom. All of the bathrooms are stocked with spa quality Public Goods amenities, hairdryers and plush towels for your convenience and comfort.

Lounge and relax

There is a main living space upon entry of the cottage. It boasts a stylish leather sofa with ottoman and comfortable swivel seating for everyone in your party. There’s also a large flat-screen Smart TV and small desk area should you need to do a little work during your visit.

A kitchen made for staying in

The modern galley style kitchen and dining area offer plenty of room to comfortably host intimate dinners and are outfitted with all the cookware, dishes, utensils, dishwasher pods, and appliances you will need to cook delicious meals. The inside dining table can seat up to four, and there are also two bar stools at the kitchen bar.

A Brita water pitcher is also provided as well as a hot water kettle.

Your outdoor living room

While there are plenty of outdoor activities nearby, the cottage also provides its own outdoor sanctuary for guests to enjoy. We invite you to enjoy the mountain air from the vaulted covered back porch putting you in the middle of a quiet wooded oasis. There is a seating area for guests to sip morning coffee or a cold drink as the sun goes down. There is also a fun and unique game to play with friends on the back porch.

Spruce Haven is not pet friendly. We love our pets, but we keep our cottage pet friendly to support our guests with allergies.

The home is located in a wooded mountain setting, so guests should expect the natural sights and sounds of the outdoors.

Outdoor safety lighting is provided at the property.

To enhance your protection, this property is equipped with a security camera situated at the exterior of the house. The camera will be actively recording the following areas throughout the duration of your reservation:

- Entrance to the property
- Front Lawn
- Parking spaces
Please be assured that the camera is configured to respect your privacy and does not have visibility into any interior spaces.
