About this house rental
This cozy and peaceful log cabin in Kuusamo, near the slopes and amenities of Ruka, offers the perfect setting for your holiday. Built in the 1980s and renovated over the years, the cabin combines traditional charm with modern comforts.
There are two bedrooms: one with a comfortable 160 cm wide double bed and the other with two separate 80 cm wide beds. The living area and combined kitchen/living room provide ample space for relaxation and togetherness. Additionally, the cabin includes a bathroom and an electric sauna for unwinding at the end of the day. A heat-storing fireplace adds warmth and ambiance on cooler evenings.
The cabin is well-equipped with all necessities: a dishwasher, microwave, washing machine, refrigerator, and freezer. Pets are welcome, so the whole family can enjoy the holiday together. In the yard, there is also a rowing boat available for a leisurely trip on the lake.
The location is excellent for active holidaymakers: ski trails and snowmobile routes are just 200 meters away, and the Ruka Ski Resort is 7.6 km away. The national park is 17 km away, offering easy access to nature experiences. A grocery store and restaurant are conveniently located 6.5 km away.
