About this house rental
This newly built cabin in Bjørheimsheia sits 34 minutes from Stavanger and about a 15-minute drive from Prekestolen. The hosts designed and built the cabin themselves, and it's entirely self-sufficient, powered by solar energy—so you can relax with a clear conscience about your impact on the environment.
The cabin's about 70 square metres and has three bedrooms, all with double beds. The bathroom, which is about 5 square metres, has a toilet and shower, and there’s hot water just like at home. The toilet's an eco-friendly vacuum toilet. Outside, a terrace of about 120 square metres awaits, right up against the mountains and wildlife. Here you’ll find an outdoor kitchen, a grill, a seating area, a dining table, a sun lounger, and an outdoor shower—everything you need to spend your days outdoors. You can step right out the front door and start hiking on marked trails, and the well-known hike to Reinarknuten begins right here. The centre of Jørpeland is about a 10-minute drive away.
