A special highlight is the unique location: Just 50 metres away, at Freiheit 8, from the impressive Raesfeld Castle, a national cultural monument. Here, you will reside in the midst of one of the most beautiful settings in the region.

The holiday apartment is fully equipped and offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. Upstairs, there are three comfortable bedrooms, two modern bathrooms, and a guest toilet. Another bedroom in the open gallery creates a special living atmosphere.

The heart of the apartment is the modern, fully equipped kitchen with an island and all kitchen appliances, perfect for cooking together and social evenings. The tastefully designed living and dining area invites you to relax and socialise with satellite TV and a spacious seating area.

For sunny days and balmy summer evenings, you have your own garden with a terrace at your disposal – perfect for barbecuing or relaxing.

Thanks to easy access via a door code, you can enjoy maximum flexibility during your arrival and departure. Cyclists can securely store their bikes in a separate garden shed.

The water castle Raesfeld in Münsterland combines historical Renaissance ambience with modern hotel comfort. Stylish rooms of upscale furnishings can be found in the main castle and outer bailey, while simpler rooms are located in the guest house. For longer stays, a holiday apartment in the castle precinct is also available. The castle is used as a conference hotel for the Academy of Crafts and is also available to all guests as a Smart Hotel with self-service.

The imposing water castle, built in the 17th century, impresses architecturally with the tallest castle tower in Westphalia at over 52 m. The historically significant walls now house the renowned Academy of Crafts Schloss Raesfeld, a nationally important further education institution for specialists, managers, as well as for craftsmanship conservation and expert services. Depending on availability, the modern, stylish conference rooms are also available for external conference customers.

The stay is characterised by an innovative Smart Hotel concept: Outside the office hours of the academy, check-in is contactless and flexible via an individual access code. The hotel rooms themselves offer the perfect setting for every taste: The 14 elegant rooms in the north wing of the main castle are located directly above the knight's hall and offer charming wooden beams and views of the courtyard or the pond areas. The cosy units in the outer bailey and the functional rooms in the guest house, together with the spacious and comfortable holiday apartment for up to eight people, harmoniously complete the accommodation offer.

Adjacent to the castle grounds is the historic Tiergarten Raesfeld.

He belongs to one of the oldest surviving Renaissance animal gardens in Germany and invites you to relax with its vast forests, ponds, and freely roaming fallow deer for leisurely walks and extensive bike rides.
