About this house rental
Fare To'erau is a newly built, modern home set on a quiet road at the border of the Anau and Matira districts, just past the old Club Med. Bright, open-plan living connects the kitchen, living room, and an outdoor deck, finished with brand-new appliances and furniture.
Two air-conditioned bedrooms sleep 4, and a third guest can use the single bed on the open mezzanine loft above the living area (sleeps 5 total) — note the loft is not air-conditioned. A full kitchen, free WiFi, and an in-unit washer make it easy to settle in for a longer stay.
Relax on the deck with mountain views, or head five minutes down the road to Matira Beach. Gated and quiet, with Vaitape village about 15 minutes away by car.

Love this place. Quiet, Comfortable, very clean, excellent HOST/Manager (Louana). We arrived a little earlier than expected and Louana worked hard to get us in a bit earlier. We had a late lunch, went to the grocery store and she called to let us know we could check-in. Just before the rain began, lucky us. It was easy to communicate with her. We felt like we were talking to a friend. Great location. Would stay here again.

A very spacious, modern, open-concept home located close to Bora Bora’s nicest beach - Matira Beach.
Fully-equipped kitchen with modern appliances; laundry machines; air conditioning in both large bedrooms; hot-water shower; large living/entertainment room with flat-screen TV.
Wall-to-wall sliding glass doors provide you access to large outside deck (allowing for inside/outside living).
The owners (a Tahitian couple) were kind and welcoming; and a very friendly property manager was onsite to greet us (and give us a tour of the house). Louana was also kind enough to assist us with our transportation needs (as we did not rent a car - a bad idea in hindsight).
I would absolutely recommend this VRBO to others!

Easy communication and face to face check in process with the amazing Louana. Easy bicycle ride to Matira beach. The house has everything one may need. Would recommend and stay again.

We had a superb stay here at Fare Toerau. The house is spacious with an open floor plan and lofted second floor. Its modern appliances for cooking and laundry made staying here very convenient, and sleeping is comfortable with the bedroom ACs. The provided bikes and snorkeling equipment are also handy and we made good use of them - it’s a nice bike ride to Matira beach. Our property manager Luana was very attentive, responsive, and friendly - I cannot recommend her enough. She helped us book a rental car on New Years Eve when it was sold out pretty much everywhere, and has plenty of recommendations for activities.Location-wise, it is a 15 minute bike ride to Matira beach, the only public beach on the island. Many activities can be booked in this area, including a lagoon tour (Motu FanFan) and jet skiing (Matira Jet), both excellent. The closest grocery store is Tiara Market, a 8 minute bike ride away, although Chin Lee in Viatape has better prices and selection. I would suggest a rental car for at least a portion of the trip, and definitely ask Luana for recommendations - as a local, she can secure better prices for rental cars and activities.We also enjoyed several of the fresh delicious passionfruit that grows on the front wall of the property :)
