No smoking or vaping inside. Outdoor smoking is permitted only if done responsibly and away from doors, windows, furniture, and shared spaces. Do not throw cigarette butts on the patio, decks, driveway, landscaping, or anywhere on the property.

There is a $500 additional cleaning charge if there is any smell or evidence of smoking, or if guests do not clean up after their pet. Anyone found breaking these rules may be asked to leave without a refund, to the extent permitted by Airbnb, the rental agreement, and applicable law.

Up to 2 approved pets are allowed, 50 lbs or under, $100 per pet. Pets must be approved and added to the reservation before arrival. Guests are responsible for pet waste, hair, odor, stains, damage, or excessive cleaning.

Guests may be required to review and sign our rental agreement after booking. All guests must follow Airbnb rules, posted signs, and the Base Camp Lodge Guest Guide.

Starter supplies are provided, including toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, body wash, and coffee for your first morning. Additional supplies, groceries, drinks, and coffee should be purchased by guests.

Guests have full access to the entire home across all three levels, including the private indoor pool house, theater room, game room, and all outdoor spaces (patio, fenced yard, fire pit, hot tubs, and sauna). Only owner`s storage/utility areas remain off-limits.

Trash & wildlife: Bears and wildlife may be nearby. Never feed or approach wildlife. Keep food, candy, coolers, pet food, trash, and scented items secured. Bag trash and place it only in the designated bear-resistant containers, closing and latching them every time.

Nearby grocery options: Food City (5 min drive), Kroger (5 min drive), Publix (5 min drive), Walmart (5 min drive) and Whaley`s Country Store (15-20 min drive).

We keep things simple so you can relax on mountain time. Check-in is contactless with a private keypad entry, so there`s no need to coordinate arrival with anyone. We (or a member of our local team) are available by text or through the Airbnb app throughout your stay if you have any questions or need anything — usually just a few minutes away if something comes up. We`re happy to share local recommendations, but otherwise we`ll give you and your group full privacy to enjoy the lodge as your own.
