The living area is bathed in natural light from expansive skylights and features comfortable seating, a TV, built-in shelving with books, and a decorative fireplace that adds to the home's character.

The kitchen is designed for easy everyday cooking, complete with a Nespresso machine, dishwasher, microwave, oven, gas cooktop, refrigerator, cooking essentials and a breakfast bar with stools for casual meals. The dining area sits beneath a soaring pitched ceiling, providing an airy setting for shared meals before French doors open onto the private brick courtyard, which also serves as the secure garage parking space. There is also free on-street parking for one car with a residential parking permit provided.

The primary bedroom upstairs offers a queen bed, polished timber floors, a decorative fireplace and direct access to the balcony overlooking the tree-lined street. The second bedroom downstairs includes a queen bed and its own split-system heating and cooling, while the third bedroom upstairs provides another queen bed and a peaceful setting for a restful night's sleep.

The bathroom features a shower-over-bath combination and a separate toilet, while the dedicated laundry is equipped with a washing machine, drying rack, and iron. Split-system air conditioning and heating are available in the dining area and the downstairs bedroom, while portable heaters are provided for the upstairs bedrooms. Central heating services the downstairs only.

For Italian, try Lagotto or Matteo's, or settle in at Suze just around the corner for Italian-inspired plates and wine. For coffee, Aphro & Wolfe on Brunswick Street is a local favourite near Edinburgh Gardens. For something sweet, Lune Croissanterie in Fitzroy and Calle Bakery in Carlton North are both well worth the walk for their pastries.

Two convenient tram stops are a short walk away on Brunswick and Nicholson Streets, providing easy connections to Melbourne’s CBD for shopping, galleries and entertainment.

The property is equipped with basic sundries to help you settle in, perfect for a short visit or to kickstart a longer one. While we don’t replenish these items, we recommend bringing some extras or picking up what you need locally.

The big bins are collected every Friday so they must be taken out for collection every Thursday evening. Any guest who stays over on a Thursday/Friday must agree to take the bins out. Please do not book this accommodation if you're not prepared to take the bins out. We will send you reminders. Thanks!
