Welcome to Mountain Edge Suite — a private little foothill stay in Orem with the Wasatch Mountains practically at your doorstep.

This one is for the guests who would rather wake up near a trail than in the middle of town.

Step outside and you’re surrounded by foothill scenery, mountain air, and easy access to hiking, biking, trail running, and outdoor exploring. At the same time, BYU, UVU, restaurants, shopping, Provo, and the rest of Utah Valley are all close enough to keep the stay convenient.

It’s small, simple, private, and in a pretty great spot.

THE SUITE

Mountain Edge Suite is a private 1-bedroom basement apartment with its own entrance and everything you need for an easy stay.

The bedroom has a comfortable queen bed, while the living room includes a queen sleeper sofa for additional sleeping space.

You’ll also have fast fiber WiFi, making it easy to stream, work remotely, or stay connected between adventures.

One detail we especially like: the apartment has its own dedicated furnace and HVAC system, completely separate from the upstairs home. You control the temperature in your space without sharing heating or cooling with anyone upstairs.

BYU + UVU

Visiting family, attending a game, graduation, conference, or campus event?

Both Brigham Young University and Utah Valley University are nearby, making Mountain Edge Suite a convenient place to stay without giving up the quieter foothill setting.

Spend the day on campus, grab dinner in Provo or Orem, then come back to your own private space at the edge of the mountains.

GET OUTSIDE

Utah Valley gives you plenty of options beyond the trails right outside the neighborhood.

Explore Provo Canyon, hike in the Wasatch Mountains, visit Bridal Veil Falls, head toward Sundance, spend time at Utah Lake, or take a scenic drive into the mountains.

Depending on the season, you’ll find hiking, biking, fishing, paddleboarding, skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and plenty of beautiful places to simply get outside.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

Mountain Edge Suite is a private basement apartment with a family living in the home above. Your apartment is completely separate and has its own private entrance, but because this is part of an occupied home, you may occasionally hear normal household sounds from upstairs.

A cat also lives in the upstairs portion of the home. The basement has its own dedicated HVAC system, separate from the upstairs living space, which helps minimize air transfer between the two areas. Guests with severe cat allergies should still keep this in mind when booking.

MOUNTAIN EDGE SUITE

You don’t need a giant cabin to have a great Utah stay.

Sometimes you just need a comfortable bed, your own private space, fast WiFi, and a trail waiting outside.

Stay close to town. Sleep at the edge of the mountains.
Mountain Edge Suite does not have a long list of rules, we simply ask that our guests respect our home. No parties, no smoking/vaping inside, no loud music, and respect the space.

Absolutely no smoking in the property! You must be at least 25 feet away from the property to smoke. Any violations will result in a 500$ fee.

Please no animals. There is a severe allergy.
