About this house rental
A private, newly renovated studio accessory apartment tucked behind a home in Houston’s Heights area — a cozy, boutique-hotel-style space built for one or two guests who want a clean, quiet, modern base rather than a lot of square footage. Think of it as a polished hotel room with a full kitchen: king bed, dedicated workspace, in-unit washer and dryer, walk-in shower, fast WiFi, and a smart TV. Minutes from the Heights’ restaurants, coffee shops, and bars, with quick access to Downtown, Minute Maid Park, and the Galleria. Ideal for couples, solo travelers, business trips, and weekend getaways — compact by design, and everything you need is here.
The Space:
This is a studio — one open room, intentionally compact, similar in size to a hotel room. Sleeping, living, and kitchen areas share the space, with a separate full bathroom. Everything is brand new: king bed with fresh linens, full kitchen with stainless appliances and dishwasher, stacked in-unit washer and dryer, walk-in tiled shower, ceiling fan, mini-split A/C and heat, and a small workspace. Great for one or two people traveling light; if you need room to spread out with a group, our 3-bedroom main house next door is the better fit.
Guest Access:
You’ll have the entire studio to yourself with private keypad entry. HOW TO FIND IT: the studio (Unit B) is a separate building at the BACK of the property behind the main house at 3508 Omega Street. From the street, walk along either side of the main house — left or right, both work — on the gravel path, and follow it to the rear of the lot. The studio’s front door and keypad face the back yard. Do not enter the main house; it is a separate rental. Free street parking is directly in front of the property.
The Neighborhood:
Just north of the Houston Heights on a quiet residential street, ten minutes from Downtown and Minute Maid Park. The Heights (19th Street) has the restaurants, coffee shops, and bars people come to Houston for: Coltivare, Better Luck Tomorrow, Eight Row Flint, Boomtown Coffee, and a dozen more within a ten-minute drive. H-E-B, Target, and pharmacies are five minutes away. Safe, quiet street; long-term neighbors.
Getting Around:
Downtown 10 min. Minute Maid Park and Toyota Center 12 to 15 min. The Heights (19th St) 10 min. Galleria 20 min. Texas Medical Center 20 to 25 min. NRG Stadium 25 to 30 min (not walkable). Bush Intercontinental (IAH) 20 min; Hobby (HOU) 25 to 30 min. Add 10 to 15 minutes in rush hour. Rideshare is reliable and the best option for game days and concerts. Free street parking out front.
Other Things to Note:
Please note this is a compact studio, roughly the size of a hotel room, and it sits behind the main house, which is a separate rental with its own guests. It is best suited to one or two travelers. Access is by a short walk along the gravel side path to the back of the lot. Self check-in with a door code; no in-person key handoff.
Interaction with Guests:
Self check-in with a door code, no in-person handoff. We reply to messages within minutes, day or night, and can be at the property quickly if anything needs attention. Local cleaning and maintenance team on call.
