Conveniently located in the heart of the High Country, Profile Trail Retreat puts you just 10 minutes from downtown Banner Elk and Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, with easy access to some of the area's favorite mountain adventures. Grandfather Mountain and the Blue Ridge Parkway are about 20 minutes away, while Boone and Blowing Rock are both just under 30 minutes from the home.
One of the home's best features is a hidden local connection to the mountains: a short, approximately five-minute walk from the cabin provides access to the Grandfather Mountain Profile Trail. Directions are provided at the cabin, giving guests a unique opportunity to enjoy this scenic trail without having to drive to the trailhead.
Inside, the main level offers a comfortable living area with a gas fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, and dining space for gathering together. Step onto the deck to enjoy the peaceful wooded setting, with outdoor seating, a gas grill, and a gas fire table for relaxing evenings.
The fun continues downstairs in the spacious game room, featuring foosball, darts, basketball games, an arcade, and more. It's an ideal space for kids and adults alike to unwind after a day of hiking, skiing, or exploring the High Country.
Sleeping accommodations are spread across three levels. The upper level features two king bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom. A queen bedroom is located on the main level, while another queen bedroom is located downstairs. For additional and flexible sleeping options, there is a king sleeper sofa in the upper level king bedroom and a full size sleeper sofa in the lower level game room.
