The Space:

🏡 This 2022-built chalet sits back on a quiet wooded lot in Camelot Forest, Tobyhanna Township — trees on every side, no close neighbors in view. 🌲

 

🔥 Walk in and the ceiling goes up two stories. Exposed beams, a floor-to-ceiling stone gas fireplace, and a wall of angled glass that pulls the forest right into the room. The great room seats all ten of you on one sectional.

 

👨‍🍳 The kitchen is built for people who actually cook: deep blue cabinetry, quartz counters, a full stainless appliance package, Nespresso and drip coffee makers, a stand mixer, and counter space for three people to work at once. A long dining table seats ten, with counter-height bar seating for six more right behind it. Slide the doors open and it all spills onto the deck. 🍽️

 

🎱 Downstairs is a full game level — pool table, LED shuffleboard, skee-ball, a stand-up arcade cabinet, and a chess table under a hand-painted mountain mural, plus a big leather sectional and a big TV.

 

🧖 There's also a real cedar sauna with a rock heater and bench seating for the whole group.

The Neighborhood:

Our home is in Camelot Forest, a wooded residential community in Tobyhanna Township, Monroe County, in the heart of the Pocono Mountains — within driving distance of Jack Frost & Big Boulder ski areas, Camelback Resort & Aquatopia, Kalahari Resorts Indoor Waterpark, Mount Airy Casino Resort, Lake Harmony, and Hickory Run State Park. Local grocery stores and restaurants in Blakeslee, Pocono Pines, and Mount Pocono are a short drive away.



Getting Around:

A car is required — there is no public transit to the property. Closest airports are Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International (~40 min) and Lehigh Valley International (~1 hr); Newark (EWR) and NYC-area airports are roughly a 2–2.5 hr drive.



Other Things to Note:

⚠️ Quiet hours are 9 pm – 7 am. A noise complaint filed by the HOA/neighbor will result in a $500 fine.

⚠️ Any loud/excessive music causing a noise complaint will result in a $250 fine.

⚠️ Fireworks are NEVER permitted by the HOA. A $1000 fine will be charged if fireworks are set off at the home.

⚠️ No parties — we have strict rules against house parties in our home.

⚠️ No extra guests without prior approval.

⚠️ No smoking within 25 feet of the property. There is a $500 fine for smoking in the unit.

⚠️ No trash may ever be left outside the property, including on the deck. The HOA is very strict and issues a $310 penalty for any garbage left outside. All guests are required to dispose of trash at the community dumpster.

⚠️ Surfaces may be slippery when icy/wet. Walk, run, drive, and park at your own risk anywhere on the property. Salt/shovels are provided at the home for winter use.

⚠️ Given our property's rural setting, you might occasionally notice small, non-harmful insects. We maintain comprehensive, year-round pest control and work hard to minimize these encounters. Please let us know if you have any concerns!

⚠️Friendly Note 🐻: Since our home is tucked in nature, you may spot a black bear in the area from time to time. They're generally well-behaved and prefer to keep their distance from people — as long as food and trash are secured, they'll simply wander by.

⚠️Winter Driving Note ❄️: 4WD/AWD is strongly recommended during winter months, as mountain roads can be snowy or icy. We do our best to have the driveway plowed, but weather can change quickly. If a vehicle becomes stuck, guests are responsible for arranging and covering any towing or assistance.

⚠️ Lost & Found Shipping Policy: If personal items are left behind, we're happy to arrange return shipping 📦 — a $50 handling fee applies for retrieval and coordination, separate from and in addition to all shipping/delivery costs 🚚.

⚠️ Guests are responsible for properly disposing of all trash before checkout. A $5 per bag disposal fee may apply for trash left behind. If checkout falls on a day the community compactor is closed, please take the bulk of your trash the day before while it's open.

📌 We strive to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Occasionally, if a previous guest hasn't followed proper usage guidelines, we may need to drain, clean, and refill the hot tub before your stay for health and safety reasons 🧼🦠. If this happens, please note it may take until the evening of your first night (or slightly longer, depending on weather) for the water to fully heat back up 🔥🌙.

📌 For transparency: our hot tub is professionally serviced after every reservation, and our tech team sends time-stamped photos once cleaning/servicing is complete — we keep those on file. If you request additional hot tub cleaning/service during your stay (outside the standard post-checkout service), it comes with an additional fee billed to the guest.

📌 A note on water appearance: to keep the hot tub looking and feeling its best, we recommend rinsing off before each use — lotions, sunscreen, and natural body oils can affect water color and clarity, especially with larger groups. This is normal and not a sign of poor maintenance.
