Buffalo Peaks is conveniently located for exploring Teton Valley and the surrounding mountain destinations. A car is recommended, especially for reaching hiking trails, the Teton River, Grand Targhee Resort, and nearby attractions.

Driggs and Victor are both within easy driving distance, with restaurants, groceries, local shops, and seasonal activities nearby. Grand Targhee Resort is approximately 20 minutes away, while Jackson Hole is about 40 minutes by car.

During winter, please allow extra travel time and use appropriate winter tires or traction devices when conditions require them.

For guests heading to Grand Targhee, seasonal shuttle options are available from designated locations in Driggs.

Parking

The property includes 2 parking spaces for the unit. Please park only in the designated spaces assigned to your unit and avoid blocking driveways, walkways, or neighboring parking areas.

If you are bringing an oversized vehicle, trailer, or additional vehicle, please contact us in advance so we can help you determine the best parking option.

Each unit has 2 dedicated parking spaces available for guests. Additional parking may be limited, so please plan accordingly.

Snowy conditions are common in our area during winter, and we want to help you prepare. Here are our recommendations from December through the end of March, or whenever snow is present.:

- 4WD Vehicles Required: These are best suited for navigating snowy and icy roads.
- Snow Chains: Bringing snow chains is recommended, especially for added safety in severe conditions.

Refunds will not be provided for weather-related challenges, and guests are responsible for any towing or additional transportation expenses they may incur. If you’re concerned about potential weather impacts, we strongly recommend purchasing trip insurance to protect your travel investment.

🗑️ Excessive Trash: Extra fees will apply if there is an excessive amount of trash left behind. Please use the trash bin provided. Trash day is Wednesday, so please make sure the bins are placed at the curb by Wednesday night for service pickup.
🚽 Please do not flush feminine products, wet wipes or flushable wipes, diapers, or anything other than toilet paper. The home is on a septic system and flushing these items will cause damage.
❄️ Winter Travel: From December through March, we highly recommend 4WD and snow tires or chains due to snowy conditions and mountain roads.
❌ Fire restrictions for the Garden City areas. No camp fires. No open flames. No fireworks.
