About this house rental
Welcome to The Texas Game Barn, your private Texas recreation getaway! The barn is situated on a private five acres, giving guests plenty of room to enjoy the outdoors as well as everything inside. This property will keep your whole family entertained with basketball, Pickleball, a fitness center, billiards, foosball table, shuffleboard table, ping-pong, lots of arcade games, a full kitchen and sleeping for eight. Come and explore hiking trails that wind through the woods, enjoy the peaceful country setting, or gather around the outdoor fire pit. It’s a fun-filled recreation weekend all in one place.
Ground Floor
The first floor is designed for fun and fitness, featuring:
* Two indoor pickleball nets
* Half Court indoor basketball space
* Fully equipped weight room
* Full bathroom
* Kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator
* Comfortable sitting area
Please note that the ground-floor recreation area is not heated or air-conditioned. The space has three large garage doors that can be opened to create airflow and allow a breeze through the building. 2 large fans are also provided.
This area has an unfinished concrete floor with pickleball court lines clearly marked. Sporting equipment is provided.
Second Floor
Head upstairs to the entertainment level, where you’ll find:
* Spacious game room with WiFi
* Pool table
* Ping-pong table
* Foosball table
* Shuffle Board Table
* Arcade games
* Fully equipped kitchen
* Full bathroom
* Sleeping accommodations for up to 3 guests (pullout couch and futon)
Third Floor Loft
The open loft provides additional sleeping space for up to 5 guests, with a king sized bed and three twin sized beds. The loft has low head clearance on the edges because of the shape of the roof. The edges of the loft have 5’ 3” clearance and the center of the loft has 6’ 3” clearance. This space is not private.
Please note: Because the loft is directly beneath the metal roof, rain can be quite loud during storms. If you’re a light sleeper, you may wish to use one of the lower-level sleeping accommodations.
Outdoor Area
Outside, guests can relax around the fire pit and enjoy the peaceful country setting.
Whether you’re organizing a friendly pickleball tournament, shooting hoops, enjoying game night, gathering around the fire pit, or simply spending time together, The Texas Fun House offers a memorable getaway!
Event rentals:
Planning a birthday party, family reunion, church gathering or corporate retreat? We’d love to help! All events with more than 12 guests will need to book through event rentals.
House Rules:
* Primary renter must be 25 years of age and remain on property with guests.
* Maximum overnight occupancy: 8 guests (not including infants)
* No smoking or vaping inside the building.
* No pets.
* Registered guests only unless approved in advance.
* A signed rental agreement and government-issued ID may be required prior to check-in.
