Inside, you'll find warm log walls and soft lighting. The interior is rustic and personal, with soft textiles, sheepskins and little favourite items that give the cabin its soul. Mornings often start off quietly with coffee, while evenings invite you to enjoy candlelight and silence, broken only by the wind outside.
The terrace's a natural gathering spot—whether for long summer evenings, a crackling fire pit, or a warm bath beneath the open sky. In winter, the cabin sits like a little fairy tale in the snow. Summer and autumn bring flowers, vibrant colours, and the closeness of nature right outside the door.
The nearest mountains are Fiskeløysa and Grønnsenknippa at 1,350 metres above sea level—child-friendly with fantastic views. Vasetstølen and Syndinstogo serve local country cuisine. In winter, ski resorts are 30–60 minutes away. Fagernes is 45 minutes away, home to the Valdres Rural Museum. It’s an hour to Beiostølen and the hiking trails in Jotunheimen.
