Welcome to Half Dozen Hideaway, a dramatic 3-story luxury log cabin perched along a Smoky Mountain ridgeline and professionally hosted by Altespacio. Designed for groups of up to 20, this is a true destination home—with soaring cathedral ceilings, approximately 20' walls of glass, incredible mountain views, oversized bedrooms, private en-suite baths and entertainment on every level.

Enter the home after 7 exterior steps and you'll find two bedrooms on the main level—ideal for grandparents or guests who prefer fewer stairs. Please note that the home is not ADA accessible.

Between them is the heart of the home: a fully equipped gourmet kitchen, large dining area and spectacular great room.

You'll also find laundry facilities and our appropriately mountain-named powder room, The Outhouse.



Step onto the lower deck for a soak in the private hot tub or a game of cornhole surrounded by mountain air.

One deck simply wasn't enough.



Half Dozen Hideaway offers front and rear decks across its three levels, creating multiple places for your group to spread out, sip morning coffee, rock awhile, grill dinner or simply take in the Smoky Mountain surroundings.



PARKING + ACCESS



Parking accommodates approximately 4–5 vehicles, depending on vehicle size and positioning. The driveway is on a moderate incline, and there are 7 exterior steps to the main entrance.



The home is not ADA accessible and interior stairs are required to reach the upper and lower levels.

The driveway has a moderate incline, and there are 7 exterior steps to the front entrance. Two bedrooms, the kitchen, dining room, great room and main deck are conveniently located on the entry level; however, the property is not ADA accessible.



Your unique entry code and Wi-Fi information will be provided in your Altespacio welcome instructions prior to arrival.



Check-in is 4:00 PM and checkout is 10:00 AM. We maintain strict arrival and departure times so our professional team has the full turnover window needed to prepare the home to Altespacio standards.

Half Dozen Hideaway is tucked along a beautiful Smoky Mountain ridgeline, offering the mountain atmosphere guests come here for while keeping you convenient to the attractions, dining and adventures of the Pigeon Forge area.



The home is located within the Smoky Mountain Ridge community, the same sought-after mountain area as several other Altespacio retreats, including our Laurel Point, Covered Bridge and Smoky Ridge properties. This makes the area especially appealing for extended families, reunions and larger groups reserving multiple Altespacio homes nearby.



Expect winding mountain roads, wooded surroundings, changing elevations and incredible scenery. Cove Creek is nearby, and wildlife is part of everyday mountain life—you may see black bears, deer, wild turkeys and other native animals during your visit.



While Half Dozen Hideaway feels like a private mountain escape, it is also part of a residential mountain community. Please respect our neighbors, observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM–8:00 AM, park only in designated areas and never block community roads or neighboring driveways.



This is the best of both worlds: a true Smoky Mountain setting with the elevated comfort, amenities and hospitality of an Altespacio stay.



Getting Around:

A personal vehicle is strongly recommended for enjoying Half Dozen Hideaway and the surrounding Smoky Mountains. Mountain roads are winding and can include hills, curves and changing elevations, so drive slowly and allow extra time—especially after dark or during inclement weather.



The home has private parking for approximately 4–5 vehicles, depending on vehicle size and positioning. The driveway is on a moderate incline.



Rideshare and delivery services may be available, but availability can vary in the mountains and should not be relied upon as your only transportation.



During winter weather, guests should monitor local conditions and arrive in a vehicle appropriate for mountain driving. Snow, ice and heavy rain can temporarily make mountain roads and driveways more challenging.



Please never park along community roads, block neighboring driveways or obstruct emergency access.



One of the advantages of Half Dozen Hideaway is enjoying a true mountain setting while remaining convenient to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Sevierville, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, dining, attractions and outdoor adventures.
