Our spacious, comfortable family home sits among mature trees just outside Christiansburg town limits, giving you a peaceful place to gather and unwind while still being convenient to Christiansburg, Blacksburg, Virginia Tech and everything the New River Valley has to offer.

Whether you’re visiting family or friends, coming for a wedding or special event, spending time at Virginia Tech, exploring the area, or simply looking for a getaway where everyone can stay under one roof, our home gives you something that’s hard to find in a hotel: room to be together and room to spread out.

The main level
The heart of our home is the large, open kitchen, dining and living area. The kitchen has granite countertops, double ovens, abundant cabinet and prep space, and a large island with seating. It’s a great setup for making breakfast together, putting out snacks for a crowd, sharing dinner or simply hanging around the island talking far longer than you intended.
The kitchen flows directly into the dining and living spaces, with hardwood floors, a large comfortable sectional and TV. It’s an easy, relaxed space where everyone can be doing their own thing while still being together.
The main level has two guest bedrooms—one with a king bed and one with a queen bed. The queen bedroom has direct access to a full bathroom, and there’s an additional half bath in the hallway.

A whole second space downstairs
One of the things we love about this house is that a larger group doesn’t have to spend the entire visit on top of one another.
Downstairs you’ll find another king bedroom and full bathroom with shower, along with a large second gathering area featuring a 77-inch TV and Centipede arcade game.
The sectional in this space converts into a queen sleeper, and we provide a memory-foam topper that can be added for extra comfort.
That makes the downstairs a great space for another couple, older kids, friends—or whoever wants to stay up watching a movie while someone else has already called it a night upstairs.
The home can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests.
Our favorite spot:
Step onto the large elevated back deck and you’re surrounded by mature trees and greenery.
There’s a covered outdoor dining area as well as plenty of room to sit outside. It’s one of our favorite places for morning coffee, a quiet afternoon, dinner outside or simply winding down at the end of the day.
You get the feeling of being tucked away among the trees without giving up convenient access to town.
The garage also has an extra full fridge that you can use, a large utility sink and EV charging access. EV drivers will need to bring their own compatible charging cord.
Location
We’re located just outside Christiansburg town limits, with convenient access to I-81 and US-460.
Virginia Tech and Lane Stadium are approximately 10–15 minutes away, making the house a great option for university visits, football weekends, graduation and other campus events—but you certainly don’t need to be coming to town for Virginia Tech to enjoy staying here.
Christiansburg, Blacksburg and the surrounding New River Valley offer plenty to explore, and our location gives you an easy home base for doing it.

This really is our home
One thing we want guests to know before booking: this is our actual family home.
It isn’t an investment property filled with identical furniture and generic décor. It’s colorful, comfortable, a little eclectic and lived in. You’ll see our personality here because this is where we actually live.
We’ll have private belongings and closets secured away during your stay, but the rest of the house is yours to settle into and enjoy.
We hope you’ll kick off your shoes, gather around the kitchen island, play some Centipede, have coffee among the trees, stretch out on the couch after a long day and feel at home while you’re away from yours.
