Welcome to The Beach at Sunny Bay, a charming waterfront retreat where comfort, adventure, and unforgettable views come together. This beautiful home offers three bedrooms and two bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen full of original character, and a cozy living area perfect for gathering with family and friends. For extra sleeping space, the large, comfortable sofa is ready to welcome you. Enjoy the warmth of the indoor fireplace or unwind outside by the firepit, surrounded by classic Adirondack chairs and the peaceful sounds of the bay.

The Space
Perfectly located to showcase the very best of the Pacific Northwest, our home offers the ideal blend of relaxation and adventure. Whether you’re craving scenic outdoor experiences, waterfront dining, or simply a quiet place to recharge, you’ll find it all here—often just steps from your door.

Guest Access
Guests have access to the entire home, with the exception of the basement apartment which is leased full time to a quiet, couple who manages the garbage.

One space in the carport is dedicated for the guests, use the area on the left/water side of the port near the door. There is also space on the flat area above the house. Do not block the driveway or boat launch area.

You’ll also enjoy access to the firepit, sandbox (protected by removable turf) and a full box of sand toys, yard, beach, and boat launch.

Family-Friendly Stay
We warmly welcome families to enjoy the property. Please note that while children are welcome, the home is not child- or baby-proofed. A pack and play is available in the fully stocked laundry room for your convenience.

Waterfront Adventures
Step outside and experience nearly 100 feet of low-bank waterfront along the beach. Launch the included kayak and hybrid paddle board, and explore the calm, beautiful waters of Sunny Bay. In the evening, gather around the fire pit to roast marshmallows while taking in breathtaking views of Puget Sound. Roasting sticks in kitchen silverware drawer!

At low tide, stroll the beach, search for crabs, play fetch with your dog, or simply relax and watch orcas, seals, eagles, and passing boats. Life vests are provided and stored in the bedroom closet. You can even paddle over to Fox Island for a memorable day of exploring.

This is a place to slow down, breathe deeply, and take in the magic of the water, especially at sunset.

Inside the Home
Inside, you’ll find a warm, spacious, and inviting living area with panoramic waterfront views, a fully equipped kitchen, and comfortable sleeping arrangements for the whole family. Whether you’re planning a peaceful escape or an adventure-filled getaway, this Gig Harbor gem offers the perfect balance of both.

Hiking & Nature
For those who love the outdoors, nearby Harbor Family Park and Kopachuck State Park offer miles of scenic trails, tide pools, waterfalls, and old-growth forests. Some of Washington’s most stunning scenery is just a short drive away.

After a day of exploring, come home to the best part of all—peaceful evenings on the deck, spectacular sunsets over the bay, and the soothing sound of water right outside your door.

Other Things to Note

Dogs are welcome, and a $50 per pet cleaning fee applies. Please be mindful of children and animals near the water, especially around the boat ramp, as it can be slippery. We provide a portable crib, along with children’s toys and utensils to help make traveling easier. For your dog, we offer water and meal bowls, plus a chuck-it toy you may borrow during your stay. Please also be respectful of our neighbors and leash dogs while on the beach.

You have access to the top 3 bedrooms, living area and deck of the duplex.

The downstairs apartment is occupied by a quiet couple, their patio is partioned off.

You do have access to the sand box under the turf and the toys in the grey box. Please replace the turf after playing in the sand.

Please do not block the driveway or boat launch.
