The Space:

The suite is built for the rhythm of beach days — somewhere cool and quiet to come back to when the sun is high and the sand is too hot to walk on. Step in from the heat and the air conditioning and ceiling fan do their work; the light is soft, the bed is made for a real rest, and everything you reach for is already there.

Mornings tend to start slow. There's a coffee maker and kettle for that first cup before anyone else is up, a frigobar for cold water and whatever you picked up the night before, and a safe for the things you'd rather not carry to the beach. A smart TV is there for the evenings you'd rather stay in.

Downstairs, the pool is the heart of the place — the spot to rinse off the salt, read in the shade, or trade wave reports with whoever else wandered down. It's the kind of building where you find your own corner quickly and the days start to blur together in the best way.



Guest Access:

Check-in is on your own time. You'll get a private code for the keypad, so you can arrive whenever your day allows — no front desk, no waiting around. Guests have full use of the pool and its shower, and there's parking right at the property, both in front and behind.



The Neighborhood:

La Punta is the part of Puerto Escondido everyone ends up loving — slower, barefoot, and built around the water. You're a minute's walk from the beach, where the surf draws people in from first light and the sand fills up again for sunset. The streets nearby are full of small cafés, mezcal bars, open-air taquerías and juice stands, most of them close enough to reach without ever getting in a car. It's a place that rewards wandering: a coffee in the morning, a swim, a long lunch, and back out as the light turns gold.



Getting Around:

Most of La Punta is yours on foot — the beach, food and bars are all within a short walk. For everywhere else, mototaxis are constant and cheap, taxis and ride apps are easy to find, and the airport is a short drive away. Many guests don't use a car at all once they've settled in.



Other Things to Note:

The pool is unheated, which most guests welcome given the climate. Daily housekeeping is available during the day, and there's complimentary drinking water for your stay.

For security purposes, all guests must complete a mandatory digital check-in prior to arrival. This includes submitting a valid ID, completing a registration form, and providing a credit/debit card for a security deposit. This secure process is required to validate your reservation and receive check-in instructions. Failure to complete it may result in denied access without refund.
