When you book the full property, Los Guajes becomes yours completely. Five independent bungalows arranged within a lush tropical estate — each private, each considered — with all shared spaces reserved exclusively for your group.

The pool faces the ocean directly. The palapa is large enough for the whole group to gather, open-air and unhurried, with the sound of the Pacific as a constant backdrop. Hammocks are scattered through the gardens. The beach in front of the property is consistently empty — a long, wild stretch of coastline with no development in sight and no strangers walking through.

The kitchen team prepares fresh Mexican food on-site, using regional recipes and local ingredients. Meals are coordinated directly with your group and can be shaped around your schedule, dietary needs, and preferences. Food and beverage service is available at an additional cost.

The Neighborhood:

El Tomatal sits on a quiet stretch of the Oaxacan coast that most visitors to Puerto Escondido never reach. Small fishing communities, dense vegetation, and very little infrastructure — in the best possible sense. Puerto Escondido is 25 minutes away when someone wants a market, a mezcal bar, or the surf energy of Zicatela. Most groups find they leave less than they planned.



Getting Around:

A rental car or coordinated transfers are recommended for the group's arrival and any excursions. The on-site team can help arrange local transportation. Puerto Escondido's international airport is approximately 40 minutes from the property.
