About this cabin rental
Secluded A-frame cabin on a wooded acre and a half, a short drive from Harpers Ferry. Four bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a lower level built for families and groups: home theater, arcade and wall games, and light exercise equipment. Outside there is a private hot tub, two fire pits, and a half-mile hiking trail on the property.

OUTDOOR LIVING
The wrap-around deck is the center of the property: a gazebo, a gas fire pit, a grill, and a private hot tub with an outdoor shower beside it. A half-mile trail leaves from the house, crosses a natural spring, and passes a second wood-burning fire pit.
INDOOR COMFORTS
The main level is open-plan with a vaulted ceiling, a stocked kitchen, and the primary bedroom with a king bed and an adjoining full bathroom that includes a tub and a bidet. The upper level has a second king bedroom with a twin futon and a small office nook. The lower level holds two queen bedrooms, a second full bathroom with a standing shower, the game room, the home theater, and light exercise equipment.

- Bedroom 1, main level: king bed
- Bedroom 2, upper level: king bed plus a twin futon
- Bedroom 3, lower level: queen bed

NEARBY
Harpers Ferry National Historical Park and the Appalachian Trail are a short drive away. The Shenandoah River is close for kayaking, tubing, and fishing, and Maryland Heights Trail has the best view in the area. Antietam National Battlefield, ten wineries, and Charles Town Races and Slots are all within easy reach. Mountain Lake Club, which has a sandy beach and food, is under five minutes away by car.
GOOD TO KNOW BEFORE YOU BOOK
We would rather set expectations up front than surprise you on arrival:
- The cabin sits on a steep mountainside and the access road is unpaved. We strongly recommend four-wheel drive during winter months. In the event of excessive snow, we may need to reschedule your stay for safety reasons.
- Navigation apps can be unreliable on the final stretch. We send detailed directions before arrival.
- The interior stairs are tall and steep. Worth knowing if anyone in your group has mobility concerns or you are traveling with young children.
- The lower level runs cool in winter. Space heaters are provided.
- The cabin sleeps up to 9, but the shared living areas are cozy rather than expansive. Groups at full capacity should expect an intimate footprint.
- The outdoor shower is turned off during winter months.
- Two exterior security cameras cover the driveways. They face outward only and there are no cameras inside the home.
PETS
We warmly welcome dogs, up to two per stay. Please clean up after them and keep them leashed when outside the house.
